The Annual Magazine Committee (A- Mag) |

A-Mag publishes the annual magazine of the college with multilingual sections. It also publishes the newsletter, 'Speak'. Besides, it organizes a competition to choose and award the Best Chairperson, and a photo-session, "Say Cheese", for faculty and non-teaching staff, administrative staff and different societies, is another activity organized by the A-Mag. |

This Society brings out the Newsletter of the College. It is a unique publication that keeps a fellow student well informed about the events happening in and around the College. Second activity, which the Society takes up, is The Happening Board, it keeps the students posted about the events happening in the College. The Society has another board called The Wallpaper Board; it captures the imagination of the students. |

The Dramatic Society (DS) |

The Dramatic Society aims at promoting theatre by organizing various plays. It puts up plays not only on the stage of Sydenham Auditorium but also performs street plays on the burning issues concerning the society. Other notable activity is Tabula-Raasa an inter-collegiate script writing competition. The members of the Dramatic Society participate in various drama competition organized by other affiliated colleges. |

Blitz Creed is an inter-collegiate literary event that is held for almost a week. The PSDS holds a workshop annually that is dedicated to personality development, time management and poetry recital. |

The SSC has tech savvy labs that are used to conduct practical of S.Y.B.Com and T.Y.B.Com classes. Besides the SCC organizes events “E-fest” in which computer and IT experts like Vijay Mukhi, Virendra Chauhan, Jays Zaveri, Tushar Gandhi etc. have participated as speakers. |

The Social Service League (SSL) |

The League undertakes the social activities within and outside the college. It has established linkages with the Spastics Society of India, CRY, Tata Memorial Hospital and the G.T. Hospital. Each year it organizes a blood donation camp. Its motto is, “ Not Me But You” and upholds it. The league has adopted a school in Waki villages near Dahanu Road, to promote its socio cultural development. |

It is dedicated to the principal of, encourage the talent of the Poor and intelligent students, who can afford a fuller education. It has activities like Diva & Arpan. Another fund raising programme is called Majilis. It is a Charity Musical Extravaganza patronized frequently by music maestros like Jagjit Singh, Pankaj Udhas and others. |

The aim of the society is “to educate and entertain today’s youth through audio visual means”. In pursuance of this, it organizes music-based programmes like Rhythm, Treasure Hunt, and LD shows. It also organizes seminars and workshop to promote its aim. |

Sydenham College Co-operative Stores (Co-ops) |

It is registered with the Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Mumbai. The aim of the stores is to provide services to the students by giving them first hand experience in areas like marketing, management, publicity, public relations and accounting. The stores renders various services to the college office and the library. It also manages the college Canteen supplies. Its operations are divided into three sections viz. The Retail, The La-Publicity and the C-cube.
It organizes an annual three-day food festival: ‘RASOI’ in the college. The Annual Sale of the stores is known as Khazana. |

It maintains the college auditorium & allocates it for society events. It looks after the overall maintenance of the auditorium like seating arrangement, stage decoration, lights, fans, etc. The funds collected by the Committee are utilized for the betterment of the auditorium. Besides, it organizes its own events like Spotlight, Fashion, and Musical Night. |

It promotes love for nature & creates environmental awareness. The club got registered under World Wildlife Fund (India). It has successfully organized events like PUC drives, periodic hikes, rain dance, cleanliness drives, go green campaign, an exhibition-cum-sale of exotic plants designated as ‘Bageecha’ and an aqua sport event named ‘Lalapalooza’. |

It promotes Hindi language and literature among the students through periodicals, literary events, workshops, lecturers, music and dance programmes. Its musical event, Dhoon, provides opportunity to the budding artists of the college to execute their talents. Mela is an event that is dedicated to highlight various aspects of the Indian rural life. The Mandal brings out its own news letter ‘Jagruti’ which publishes literary works of the students. It also conducts workshop and Kavi Sammelan dedicated to the promotion of Hindi. |

In short, it acts as the cultural ambassador of Maharashtra in the college. |

The Golden Jubilee Memorial Lectures |

The Sydenham Golden Jubilee Trust established three memorial lectures to honour three eminent professors, viz. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Prof. R.M.Joshi and Prof. S. K.Muranjan. These memorial lectures are held every year, where students’ participation is compulsory. |
